Healing Faith employs a significant number of Ugandan Staff with a variety of specialties, knowledge and skills. This includes: Medical Manager, Medical Clinical Officers, Lab Technicians, Registered Nurses, Midwives, Outreach Team Members, Area Coordinators, , Human Resource Coordinators, as well as Support Staff that includes members of our staff trained specifically for spiritual support.
In 2020, with the addition of the laboratory, staffed by a Licensed Laboratory Technician, a new strand of malaria was identified within the community. Plasmodium Malaria was identified and treated within a small population of the community. By adding microscopy to the testing process, the severity of the malaria case can be quantified and treated accordingly. If a patient is identified as Positive ++3 or ++4 for malaria, they are deemed severe.
Since the opening of Malaira Center 1 located in a rural area of the Mayuge District, Healing Faith has been able to provide full time employment to forty Ugandan Nationals. These hard working staff members are passionate about malaria education, treatment and prevention and work tirelessly to provide care for the people within our service delivery area.
