
The Healing Faith Ugandan Staff includes: a Program Manager, a Medical Manager, (2) Medical Clinical Officers, a Lab Technician, a Registered Nurse, (4) Enrolled Nurses, a Nurse/Midwife, (2) Outreach Team Members, an Area Coordinator, a Director, a Human Resource Coordinator, and (8) Support Staff.
In 2020, with the addition of the laboratory, staffed by a Licensed Laboratory Technician, a new strand of malaria was identified within the community. Plasmodium Malaria was identified and treated within a small population of the community. By adding microscopy to the testing process, the severity of the malaria case can be quantified and treated accordingly. If a patient is identified as Positive ++3 or ++4 for malaria, they are deemed severe.
