Providing feasible and timely access to malaria testing and treatment is a critical component of Healing Faith's Malaria Outreach Program. The Healing Faith Malaria Center provides families with a place where they can bring children and loved ones suffering from malaria.

In 2022, we opened our second malaria center located within the Jinja District. Malaria Center 2 (MC2) is located near the Nile River within a more densely populated area. This has allowed Healing Faith to reach an underserved and larger population. This not only has benefitted the at-risk community, but provided jobs for Ugandan citizens both during the construction process and in the long-term operation of the Center itself.

The surrounding community showed up every day to see the construction progress on the Center and anxiously awaited the day when we opened our doors. We were so grateful to finally have opened the MC2 to provide families in the surrounding areas with the path towards malaria freedom!
The day that MC2 was opened, there was a HUGE community gathering of people to see it's opening, including the Kyabazinga (King) of Busoga, William Wilberforce Kadhumbula Gabula Nadiope IV, which was so encouraging to our staff and community. We’ve just scratched the surface, but we are looking forward to being able to build into the future of this area by improving malaria health outcomes and ending preventable deaths.
Before MC2 came along, reports showed that in the area, there were at least 35-40 Ugandans who died from Malaria per month. Within 5 months of operation, these reports showed 100% decrease in Malaria deaths. This has all been possible through our supporters. Their faith, prayers and support have enabled Healing Faith to attain this momentous goal.
