Providing feasible, affordable, and timely access to malaria testing and treatment is a critical component of Healing Faith's Malaria Outreach Program. The Healing Faith Malaria Center provides Mayuge families with a place where they can bring children and loved ones suffering from malaria. The Malaria Center is staffed with eight (8) medical personnel; a Medical Clinical Officer, Laboratory Technician, Medical Manager and five (5) Nurses. In addition to medical needs of the patient there are staff members on hand to meet the educational needs of both the patient and the family members that brought the patient into the Malaria Center.
In 2022, we will be opening a second malaria center located within the Jinja District. Malaria Center II will be located near the Nile River within a more densely populated area. This will allow Healing Faith to reach an underserved and larger population. This will not only benefit the
at-risk community but will provide jobs for Ugandan Nationals both during the construction process and the long-term operation of the Center itself.

Daily progress is being made on our Malaria Center II site! The surrounding community is showing up every day to see our progress on the center and anxiously awaiting the day when we open our doors. We are so grateful to finally be executing our dream of establishing the MCII site to provide families in the surrounding areas with the path towards malaria freedom! We’ve just scratched the surface, but we are looking forward to being able to build into the future of this community by improving malaria health outcomes and ending preventable deaths.
